The Centre for MEGA Epidemiology combines the Centre for Genetic Epidemiology and the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit. The new name reflects the rapid progression of science in the field of epidemiology especially in relation to using new Molecular and Analytic technologies to disentangle the interplay between Genetic and Environmental determinants of disease and well-being.
