Screening
In collaboration with Breast Screen Victoria, the Centre for MEGA Epidemiology is conducting a study on the risk factors for breast cancer, and breast cancer detection, using a large comprehensive series of mammographic data.
Similarly, the Centre for MEGA Epidemiology has also undertaken a large population-based series of men and women with bowel cancer and their relatives which is investigating predictors of the various methods of screening for bowel cancer.
The Centre for MEGA Epidemiology also undertook an extensive review of thalassaemia screening services for the Victorian Department of Human Services.
